Axl T. Ernst

Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Axl T. Ernst now finds herself as a professional working artist in the heart of downtown London, Ontario.  Working with acrylic-based media, graphite and pastel, Axl's regular body of work mostly consists of textural fossil reliefs and drawings. While ancient fossils and other natural phenomena typically dominate the subject matter of her work, her fascination with these things stem from a long love of fantasy and surreal art. Returning to her love of weird creepy things, most of her street paintings to date have been depictions of beautiful dragons and sea monsters.
